Round 13 - Split Round Part One Ah, the split round, an opportunity to be able to see all the games played over two big weekends…but wait what’s that? They still scheduled two sets of games at the same time. My, those gentlemen at the AFL are geniuses, I tell you.
The tipping results won’t be out until after the second part of the split round; but what joy (or sorrow) has the first half presented to us so far? full story

AFL wrap up: Mid-way posted by Mrs D on June 6, 2005 22:20

Well that was Round 11, and we're now half way through season 2005. Lets have a look at the season so far. Overachievers: West Coast Eagles - with a 10:1 win/loss record, they are looking unstoppable. Nothing to complain about here. All the players will be getting Brownlows this year - it'll be a 22 way tie. Adelaide: Who'd da thunk it? I'm putting Crows up here, cos I'm really impressed with their form. For a no-name coach, they sure are showing some of the old men of the game (Mr Sheedy) some new tricks; or is that 'tried and true' tricks? On the tipper front, Jill and Budgie are duking it out for top spot- with only a slim margin to separate them. Will Jill's absence from the country at this crucial time lead to her downfall? Let's also include Neil here with the overachievers. He's managed to be top tipper again this week. That's twice for all of you playing at home. Flukey, to say the least.
Rest of teams in Full Story full story
